Full Job Description Enviroprobe Service is seeking experienced utility locators/GPR technicians. Utility locating experience is required. GPR operating and test pit experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Mobilize remotely from home with a company vehicle. Year round full time salaried position with weekends off. We provide professional private mark out and geophysical investigation services and encourage methodical and thorough work.

Seeking independent and experienced locators to:

• Delineate underground utilities, tanks, etc.

• Utilize RF, EM, magnetic and ground penetrating radar equipment.

• Represent a professional company image to our clients while conducting geophysical surveys at varying sites primarily throughout the New Jersey and New York Metro areas

• Work safely with coworkers, clients, and public to complete tasks in a timely manner

• Document and provide written summaries of field activities

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Utility locating experience is required

• A knowledge of utility locating theory and techniques

• Investigative mind to search sites for signs of utilities, excavations, structures, etc.

• Ground penetrating radar experience preferred, Enviroprobe provides additional training

• Experience with test pit or soft dig operations and equipment use, Enviroprobe provides additional training

• Capability to act as project manager as relates to individual sites and clients

• Ability to read plans and follow maps

Job Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Must pass drug screening and background checks

• OSHA 40, HAZWOPER, and OSHA 10 Construction preferred but can be provided

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and be on your feet for a majority of the day

• Able to use all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participate in medical surveillance program
