Ground Penetrating Radar Investigation To Delineate Former UST Excavation Area
An out-of-state environmental consulting company contacted Enviroprobe for a project in New Jersey. The property currently was a hotel. Records show that the property was once a gas station with underground storage tanks. The old site plan showed the approximate location of a former UST which supposedly had been removed. However, the plan was not scaled and out of proportion, creating difficulty for selecting soil boring locations. Enviroprobe performed the ground penetrating radar investigation and delineated the former UST excavation area. The results were provided in real time and it’s immediately followed by drilling which was also performed by Enviroprobe. All activities were conducted with ongoing communication with the client and a detailed geophysical investigation report including mapping was sent to the client for review and recordkeeping.
