Enviroprobe Service, Inc. conducted a marine resistivity survey for the evaluation of borrow areas for sand resources off the coast of New Jersey.The survey provided supplemental information for borrow areas by integrating Vibracore data into resistivity profiles. Resistivity profiling can demonstrate if sediments are similar and, therefore, help to determine if Vibracore samples collected in an area provide reliable data or random snapshots of sediments. This information can help avoid relying on flawed Vibracore data.
